My name is Jason White, the founder of J-Tools LLC. My introduction to tools started at a young age while working on my parents' dairy farm in Michigan. While rebuilding my 1997 F-150 in the spring of 2017 I searched for a right angle ratchet adapter only to find that specific adapter wasn't on the market. There were similar tools but nothing was quite what I needed.
Fast forward to 2020. My family’s farm was struggling and I was looking for another job. The covid-19 pandemic made finding another job nearly impossible. That’s when I turned to my idea for a right angle ratchet adapter. I used the free time I had during the pandemic to teach myself CAD and designed the first version of the J-Block in 2021. That fall, I connected with Huisman Global Ventures and I couldn’t have found a better team to work with. After 2 years I came up with the design you see today.
